From Chiang Mai to the Great Wall: A 25-Day Motorcycle Journey Through Southeast Asia

There are rides that stay with you and then there’s this one.

This journey begins in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and unfolds northward across Laos, into the breathtaking elevations of Tibet, and on through central China to finish in the imperial capital of Beijing. Along the way, riders traverse a stunning range of terrains from jungle valleys and limestone karsts to high-altitude plateaus and bustling historical cities.

Expect everything from smooth tarmac sweepers in Thailand’s north to rugged mountain passes in Yunnan and winding alpine roads above 4,000 meters on the Tibetan Plateau. Riders will cross major rivers like the Mekong and Yangtze, ascend through remote ethnic minority regions, and ride through landscapes few travelers ever see.

This is more than a ride. It’s a real expedition, fully supported and expertly guided.

The Essentials:

  • 5,800 kilometers
