Overall, the route covers a wide range of riding conditions without being overly technical. Distances are manageable, roads are generally good, and the pace allows time to rest and look around. Support is provided throughout, including luggage transport and a lead team.

Remark;

Not every place on this journey can be planned ahead. You might come across something special that only happens at a certain time depending on the day, the hour, and the moment. These are the kinds of experiences that can’t be scheduled they just happen.

DAY BY DAY SCHEDULE

10-DAY RIDE from thailand to malaysia motogp Motorcycle TOUR ITINERARY

Arrival to Hua Hin town, Bike Tour Asia

Day 1 / Arrival – Hua Hin

Our destination is the western costal region of Thailand, where we’ll arrive in Hua Hin, a province famous for its beaches, one of Thailand’s most beloved seaside towns. With its long beaches, vibrant night markets, and blend of tradition and modern charm, Hua Hin offers the perfect place to end the day by the sea.

After dinner, you can unwind as you please—perhaps with a casual drink at a cozy local bar, or by enjoying a relaxing foot or Thai massage at a nearby street-side shop to end the evening comfortably.

Grand Sand Dune, Chumphon

Day 2 / Hua Hin to Chumphon

Today, we’ll ride through the narrowest part of Thailand, where the distance between the Gulf of Thailand and the Myanmar border is just a few kilometers. It’s a unique stretch of land with stunning views on both sides, marking our transition into Southern Thailand. Along the way, we’ll make a special stop at one of the region’s hidden gems — Phraya Nakhon Cave, a cave inside Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, famous for its sunlit chamber and the iconic royal pavilion built during King Rama V’s reign — a symbol of royal heritage and natural beauty.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit a temple perched on a seaside hill, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ocean. This large and beautifully designed temple is not only a spiritual landmark but also a perfect spot to pause and take in the coastal scenery. After our visit, we’ll continue our ride to a beachfront hotel in Chumphon Province, where the peaceful sea breeze and relaxing atmosphere await. (Approx 300KM)

Seafood at Southern Thailand, Khanom

Day 3 / Chumphon to Khanom

Today we ride south from Chumphon to Songkhla, covering approximately 450–500 km.

The morning ride passes through coastal lowlands, rubber plantations, and small villages, offering a mix of rural scenery and occasional sea views. Midway, we will go through Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat provinces, where the terrain rises slightly into gentle hills and local towns. Lunch at a lovely local sea food restaurant, a true seafood feast is waiting for us.

We pass the town of Surathani and riding towards Khanom beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in this part of Thailand. Overnight Khanom beach.

(Approx 320KM)

Viewpoint on Khanom-Sichon Road

Day 4 / Khanom to Songkhla

If you are an early bird, take a walk along the beach and enjoy the sunrise. Breakfast next to the beach, a day cant start much better than this. Once back on our bikes we have the beautiful “rollercoaster” road southbound along the ocean. We make a short stop at the viewpoint.

At Nakhon Si Thammarat we will visit a chocolate factory and learn about the processing of chocolate from the fruit to the end products. There is plenty of opportunities to try different chocolate bars and drinks.

Lunch on the beach at the lovely Pak Phanang.

From here its straight south towards Songkhla our end destination of today. The road follows the beach; we are riding on roads less traveled passing lakes, waterways, and mangrove areas adding unique scenery Just before Songkhla we ride the causeway around the big natural harbor of town. The town is an old trading post. We will take the opportunity to ride through the old quarters. Overnight Songkhla.

(Approx 290KM)

Sakom Beach Market, Bike Tour Asia visited

Day 5 / Songkhla to Betong

Start the day riding through the historic streets of Songkhla Old Town, with its charming temples and colorful murals. Head south on Route 4 (Phetkasem Road), passing by Songkhla Lake which is perfect for early morning lakeside views and rural areas featuring rubber and fruit plantations typical of southern Thailand.

Enjoy the peaceful countryside and small roadside villages, great for short photo stops to capture local life. We take a break and visit the Sakom Beach Market. The seafood on sale hear is unique, so are the low prices.

Once we leave the coast line and ride into the inland you will notice that majority of the population is Muslim. This area was part of the Patani Sultanate (14th–18th century), an independent Malay Muslim trade hub. It thrived as a maritime center before being conquered by Siam (Thailand) in 1786. Formerly a center of Malay culture, it was officially annexed into Siam in 1909 and now features a mix of traditional Malay-Muslim, Indian, and Chinese culture.

Roads become more winding with gentle elevation changes, offering a more engaging ride through lush green landscapes partly next to the Malaysian border. We are in a remote area, there are not many restaurants, lunch will be a bit later today by the Bang Luang dam.

Arrive in Betong, a lively border town right next to Malaysia. Explore the vibrant local markets and enjoy the mix of Thai and Malaysian culture.

Check in to the hotel and relax after the day’s ride. (Approx 250KM)

Bike Tour Asia at Cameron Highlands, Malaysia

Day 6 / Betong to Cameron Highlands (Thailand - Malaysia)

Hotel does not serve breakfast so we will take the opportunity to enjoy a local “dim sum” before leaving Betong. We will also stop at the “Betong Route 410” souvenir shop.

We leave Betong early to the close by border into Malaysia. Once inside Malaysia you will notice how most things changes. We ride the main road towards the historical town of Ipoh. From here the ride gradually climbs into the highlands. Roads become more winding and scenic as you move away from lowland plantations and towards lush tropical hills and forested terrain.

As we approach Cameron Highlands, the climate becomes noticeably cooler, the roads twist through gentle mountain passes, and the scenery opens up to sweeping views of tea plantations, mossy forests, and rolling hills — a favorite section for riders who enjoy elevation changes and mountain curves.

After Bentong, proceed toward the KL bypass, passing scenic hills that transition into flatter terrain as we approach the Klang Valley. (Approx 260KM)

Not much is happening here, still it can take time to clear all formalities.

After completing border immigration we are in Thailand and the most southern province, Satun.
